April 2010 Really Useful (Or Amusing) Websites

  • http://www.brownielocks.com/month2.html – This is a very amusing site – and very thorough as well  There are links for a good number of the holidays!  I recommend taking a look, just for giggles but because there are also a number of good causes that have “months” or days to draw attention to them.  For example, April is “Parkinson’s Awareness Month” and I had no idea.  On the other hand, it is also National Landscape Architecture Month…lol.
  • http://library.thinkquest.org/2886/fun.htm – This is another amusing list of odd, bizarre, or humorous holidays.  I really have to remember to celebrate “National Do Nothing Day” …I need the rest…J  And I’m afraid that some people have taken “Ask a Stupid Question Day” (September 28) to a whole new level and made it a career…
